Dharma Exchange

Of the 6-odd billion conscious entities we know about, only a few care to worry about the questions Ralf mentioned. Would you walk up to someone and ask "excuse me sir, do you exist as a discrete entity?" For those few of us who do ponder such questions, why? Apart from the self-aggrandisement that comes from sounding edumacated, do such questions have any practical significance? Or are they just an exercise in intellectual masturbation?

Ok, first post, never easy. But every worthwhile conversation has started with a first sentence, so let's jump right in. What's this blog about? Primarily it can serve as a container to explore thoughts on the big questions of Life. What is Spirituality? Is there such a things a time? Do we exist as a discrete entity? If so, where do we come from and why do we have Consciousness? Would Buddha have subscribed to the Copenhagen interpretation of quantum physics? That sort of thing. Why Dharma Exchange? Well, I really wanted to call it Dharma Dialogues, but believe it or not that was taken. The Sanskrit term Dharma represents to me a "higher truth" or ultimate reality of the universe. Just what we might be pondered in this blog. A full discourse on dharma and what is ultimately knowable is probably a post of its own. Who is posting?
